ABOUT THE COMPANY

From its inception, 1 Reputation, LLC has purposed to provide independent and well-researched advice to companies purposing to be ethical. 1 Reputation, LLC was founded in 2021 by Brent Longnecker, who has over 38 years of consulting experience with KPMG Peat Marwick and Deloitte & Touche, where he served as Regional and National Partner, respectively. In 2003, he formed Longnecker & Associates, an independent consultancy firm that specialized in performance management, executive, key employee, and board compensation issues. Other specialized service areas included corporate governance, shareholder outreach, litigation support, and executive contract negotiations. In 2017, Brent sold his consultancy to NFP ( National Financial Partners) and stayed with the firm as Chairman and CEO until 2021.

Over the decades, it became more and more apparent that there were two types of client companies – those that purposed to be ethical and those that did not. With the sweeping changes and complexities surrounding pay, coupled with significant government reform, it became obvious that the companies purposing to be ethical would significantly differentiate themselves from those that did not care to.

1 Reputation was not only founded on almost four decades of experience and a strong moral compass, but its core desire is to represent companies, executives, and boards who understand one of their most important assets is their REPUTATION. Our cornerstones are honesty, integrity, and independence; our delight is working with clients that appreciate that distinction. At the end of the day, ethics are absolute, not situational.
